Video in Education

Along with the great democratisation of video comes fantastic opportunities to utilise video resources within the educational arena, with benefits to learners regardless of whether they learn best through visual, auditory or kinaesthetic means.

Although this website is currently under construction, there will be examples of good practice, case studies and opportunities to discuss the use of video to assist learners of all abilities. We'll be taking a look at how to use video in different scenarios, it's advantages, and disadvantages; and we'll be providing you with some top tips for creating and using video in your own area of specialism. Finally, we'll take a look at how it relates to the professional standards for teachers here in the UK.

If you'd like to be involved, or have any comments, ideas or questions, then please contact video@davidvickers.com.

Many thanks,
David Vickers.
